Car Buying Experience

Hello All,

Earlier this week I had to get a new car. I leased my 2015 Ford Focus, and time was running up. I decided from the moment I leased that car, that I would get an SUV for my next car. Later that year, I got a job where we deal with emergency services. That means our office does not close even if it is snowing. I needed a car that has 4 Wheel Drive. Honestly, I was glad to get rid of my Focus. It shook every time I made a turn, and jolted every time I accelerated. There was even a lawsuit over the transmission for the 2015 models of the Ford Focus. It did not make me feel safe at all.

Hey all!

So I was able to schedule and complete my interview with the awesome Dacre Stoker. He was so nice! The review will be posted in a few days, once I get it transcribed and edited.

I am also picking up a copy of “Dracula: The Undead” by Dacre hopefully tomorrow. Well, two copies. One for myself, and one to give away. I’ve not decided if it’s going to be a contest or if it’s going to be a sweepstake. Which would you guys prefer?

I will also be busy with Pensacon!!! I’m so excited. I’ve got my bags all ready, my lanyard made (I couldn’t find one I liked so I made my own), and my shirt picked up. I’m going to be sitting with Fraser Hines, who played one of the Doctor’s longest companions on Doctor Who. I’ve got everything shiny. My fanny pack (yes, a fanny pack) is shiny, my lanyard is shiny, my shoes are shiny, AND MY UNICORN HORN/EARS IS SHINY TOO. I hope they don’t mind me wearing them, otherwise, I’ll just take them off. I’m not cosplaying or anything, I just want to wear ears.

Are any of you going to Pensacon this weekend? If so, let me know and I’ll keep an eye out!

Slight complication…

So, as those of you who read my last post know, I am trying to set up an interview with Dacre Stoker for the website. I didn’t think about asking for permission ahead of time, so one of the admins who work for Pensacon is asking if he’d be willing to do an interview with me. So, crossing fingers!

I’m still hoping to possibly do a giveaway of one of his signed books, so be on the lookout for that!

Possible Project

So last night I was laying in bed and had the most amazing thought.

I’m volunteering at Pensacon next weekend, and author and great-grand-nephew of Bram Stoker, Dacre Stoker, will be there.

So I’m like, I should totally do an interview with him. I get a lunch break and hopefully he isn’t sitting too far away from where I’ll be sitting (still don’t know which celebrity I’ve been assigned to), so I’ll take that time to do a short little interview that will be posted here on the website.

What do you guys think? Do you have any questions you want asked? Let us know in the comments!
