First Book of the Month box

Hello All,

I received my first Book of the Month box on Saturday. I was so excited to get it and I kept tracking the delivery multiple times a day.

So when I finally got it and opened the package, I was a bit underwhelmed. I mean I knew what was coming because I ordered it, but I thought there’d be more of a welcome. Stickers, a pin, maybe even a small tote bag. Here’s what I got:

Other than a generic book mark (I think it’s a book mark), which is blue and says “Where were we?” on the front and white with “Book of the Month” written in a blue script on the back, there’s not much more to the package.

Overall, I think I hyped it up in my mind and let myself down. I would have to say it was a good experience over all. The delivery was quick and provided you with a tracking number and there was no issues.

I know that once you get 12 boxes you become a part of their “BFF” program which gets you extra goodies, but maybe they could make the first package a little bit more welcoming.

I’m going to (hopefully) read the books in the next coming weeks and provide you all with reviews.
